The first organization that I am interested in is UNICEF. UNICEF is an organization that helps build a world where children's rights are realized. UNICEF nurtures and cares for children, in which they believe that when children are cared for they progress. They are advocates for children and they believe in giving children the best start in life, because giving them the best start ensures that they may have a more promising future. UNICEF involves everyone in creating a positive and protective environment for children. UNICEF offers a number of things that will help children be the best that they can be.
The second organization I am interested in is Save the Children. This is an independent organization that creates lasting change in the lives of children across the world. This organization not only helps children but it also helps the families of those children. When there is a disaster Save the Children takes action and provides medical care, food, and education. They are there to provide long-term help with poverty, hunger, and illiteracy, they replace hopelessness with hope for the future.
The last organization is the ISSA, which is an organization that aims to ensure equal access to quality care and education for children. This organization basically promotes high-quality services that will not only empower the child, but their parents as well. This organization wants to build a strong network of individuals' that will be there to help the child reach there full potential.
The reason why I chose these three organizations is because they not only focus on children, but they focus on helping their families as well. If you are not helping the families of these children as well then the children will not have a far change to succeed in life or whatever they are wanting to do.

Hi LaRoyia,
ReplyDeleteI agree that Save the Children and ISSA are great organizations. Children will not meet their potential unless we empower the parents. I would love to contribute to the Save the Children Organization. I strongly believe that every child has the right to food, medical services, and education.
Thanks for the information! Christina
LaRoyia,
ReplyDeleteI also chose many of the same organizations you did! I think ISSA is a great organization that strives to ensure all children receive high quality early childhood education from the start. Did you consider searching employment within any of these organizations?
Thanks,
Maggie
Hi LaRoyia,
ReplyDeleteThe organizations that you have chosen are excellent and have in existence for many years. I have contributed to Save the Children many times and I have always been blessed by the pictures they send to me of the children who are receiving food, shelter, clothing, and education because of the contributions people from all around the world have given. Giving parents and children the help they need will empower them to move forward and know that their are people who do care and want to see them succeed. Thank you for taking the time to enlighten us about these awesome organizations.

Hi LaRoyia,
ReplyDeleteThe organizations you chose are excellent. I agree that parents need to be empowered in order for children to reach their full potential. I also agree with the ISSA that all children should receive a high quality education from the time they start to the time the finish school.
Hi LaRoyia, I chose Save the Children and UNICEF also. I really love what these organizations are during for children. There is a great need for organizations like Save the Children and UNICEF in meeting the needs of children. These organizations have proven contributions that work in truth when it comes to validity in saving mankind.
ReplyDeleteLaRoyia,
ReplyDeleteI like the three organization you chose because they are there to help both the children and their families to be successful. They not only save children but families. Who would not want these organizations on their team. Nice post
Pam
Hi LaRoyia,
ReplyDeleteWe chose all three of the exact same agencies that promote positive social change for children and families. I definitely believe they all do a great job helping children and families overcome challenges and be as successful as possible. I like the career path you are on and wish you luck in all you endeavors.

Hi LaRoyia,
ReplyDeleteI think that your choices are very interesting. I especially liked UNICEF. When I hear the name UNICEF, I always think of the commercials with the sad children, or the fundraiser campaigns that all schools participate in where they have to carry around the small orange boxes. Indeed UNICEF involves everyone in creating a positive and protective environment for children
